In order to curb the spread of COVID - 19 we are engaging in online worship -- Zoom services on the first Sunday of the month and pre-recorded services for the other Sundays.  All communal programming (EXCEPT LABYRINTH WALKS) is also online until further notice.

FAITH IN ACTION

Being the hands and heart of God

As followers of Jesus we are called to be part of God's healing of the world together.  We walk in the footsteps of the One who lived among "the least of these" and became servant to all.  We offer a range of opportunities to serve the world through partnering with  soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless ministries, interfaith communities,  advocating for just policies and caring for our planet.  We believe that our love of God is shown through our love of neighbor -- and EVERYONE is our neighbor!

If you would like to be a part of our Faith in Action Ministry please contact Jose Ortiz at josemortiz1981@gmail.com.

This election season we are engaging in a Get Out the Vote campaign to make FCC a 100% voting congregation!

Called to Sacred Activism

We believe that our faith compells us to speak out in the face of injustice and advocate for policies that advance the dignity of all.  At times that might mean contacting our representatives, holding a vigil, or taking to the streets to be the voice of those who cannot speak for themselves.  We believe that this "sacred activism" is inspired by the prophet Micah who remind us of what God requires : do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God."
